Pershore Wine Society met on Thurs 23 September to celebrate 20 years of shared friendship built on a mutual love of wine. Several original members were present along with those who have joined over the years.
The meeting took the format of our popular Members Evenings with nine wines being presented by members, along with a selection of delicious foods selected to match the wines. In addition we had a splendid celebration cake to round off the evening which matched extremely well with both the Sauternes and Tawny Port that accompanied it.
We shared many happy memories, drank a toast to those who are no longer with us, and made plans for our future meetings taking the society forward.
