Connoisseurs Evening

Weds  11 January 2012 – The Angel Inn Hotel, 7.30pm

 As an addition to our regular monthly meetings we are looking to expand the Society by offering four Connoisseurs evenings throughout the year.

The intention being that this will offer people the chance to experience a selection of higher quality wines over and above the price levels of most people’s everyday drinking.

We will be charging £30 per head for each evening, hoping to attract 10-15 people per tasting, we will have eight different wines, one bottle of each which should allow us a minimum spend of £30 per bottle.

The evenings will be hosted in house and the format of the evening will be based largely on a group discussion as opposed to an individual talk.

Due to the higher costs involved payment for each evening will be in advance, and a deadline will be set for full payment.

Payment is non refundable (with the exception of the event being cancelled).

If at the deadline we do not have enough people to make the evening viable the evening will be cancelled and all payments will be refunded.

Our first connoisseurs evening will be held on the 11 January 2012 and will be hosted by Chris.

We will be sampling a selection of red wines from Burgundy, Gevrey-Chambertin, Nuits St George, Morey St Denis, Chambolle Musigny, Vosne Romanee are among the eight wines that we will be tasting.

The deadline for payment for this evening is Wed 23rd November, please make payment to Pershore Wine Society and make sure that it reaches Chris on or before the deadline.
