There has been a change to the programme for January.
John Freeland of C A Rookes in Stratford will be presenting a evening of Clarets.
This will undoubtedly be an excellent evening. John has visited us several times and is always worth listening to and always brings a good selection of wines to tempt us.

Very good it was too we were privileged to taste some excellent vintages long before they will be released to the public.
I was interested how John could supply our tasting evenings with wine of this quality and price on our usual budget for the evening. Apparently he has a range of bottles for sampling and rather than open them just for himself he is interested in bringing them to groups like ours to hear what we think. I suspect Pershore is a “tell it as we find it group” rather than a its an expensive label must be good.
